Cincinnati punk-pop combo the Fairmount Girls was formed by singer/bassist Marnie Jaffe (nee Greenholz) -- an alumna of the legendary NYC avant-noise band Live Skull -- in tandem with guitarists Jane McBrain and Chris Schadler, keyboardist Melissa Fairmount and drummer Dana Hamblen. Bassist Shannon McGee replaced Jaffe for the Fairmount Girls' debut LP Eleven Minutes to Nowhere, issued on the local Deary Me label in 1999. ~ Jason Ankeny
