The son of yé-yé queen Françoise Hardy and actor/singer Jacques Dutronc, Thomas dedicated himself to gypsy jazz before releasing his 2007 debut, Comme un manouche sans guitare, in which he plays up his own gypsy image. Dutronc's songs blend pop, rock and his impressive Django Reinhardt-inspired guitar playing with poetically clever lyrics, a charming low-affect voice and boundless self-confidence. His 2015 album Eternels jusqu'à demain added extra production sparkle without sacrificing an iota of his intimate charm.
