Whether filming with collective ClickKlak or laying down a verse, Eldar Dzharakhov is driven by a need to experiment. From penning his first poems to forming satirical rap crew Successful Group, he always makes music on his own terms. Dzharakhov found hip-hop aged 11—hooked on 50 Cent, Basta and ST1M—before making his first forays in 2008. Over the next decade he cut his teeth in online battles and mixtapes before dropping LP debut ROCK’n’ROFL in 2018. Between candid nostalgia and haunting beats, Dzharakhov’s music belies a gregarious online persona to demonstrate his creative dynamism.
