Big & Rich's larger-than-life mix of country, rock, rap and pop was crafted by a couple of guys with big ears. Without the influence of hip-hop clown prince Sir Mix-A-Lot, the rap on “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” might never have existed. And those crunching rock riffs in some of the duo's biggest cuts certainly suggest some quality time spent soaking up the arena-rock feel of Foreigner.
