Head to any late-night bar in Moscow and chances are you’ll hear Artyom Kacher. The performer studied at the prestigious Gnesin Russian Academy of Music before diving into the world of rhythmic Russian dance-pop. He broke out in 2016 with the deep-house floor-filler “Poison” which, like much of his subsequent work, amassed a dizzying amount of streams. Pulsating bass lines and icy synths are cornerstones of his sound, whether he’s embellishing the reggaetón-inspired beats of “Your First” or the acoustic textures of “Wrong”.
