London O'Connor

Mixing bedroom rap, tender R&B, and hazy synth-pop into a dreamy, witty sound all his own, songwriter/producer London O'Connor grew up in San Marcos, California, a sleepy San Diego suburb. O'Connor managed to find inspiration in his hometown's stultifying boredom, writing songs, recording mixtapes, and making narrated field recordings he called "Captain's logs." After graduating from high school, he studied music at NYU's Clive Davis Institute. Albums such as O∆ (pronounced "circle triangle") showcased his iconoclastic mix of dreamy sounds and razor-sharp lyrical insights.
