In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 6, I had my first drum kit. My parents bought it for me, with the terms that I had to have lessons. Little did we know at the time it would start me off on a real passion for music! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Everything Everything, A Fever Dream John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles United Pursuit, Will Reagan, Tell All My Friends An album is only really good if you can listen to it beginning to end and not want to skip anything. These questions are always difficult, but for me these albums don't get old. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Self Assessment.” This was a particularly fun song to produce. Out of a live recorded session, I pulled a solo which I chopped and resampled to create a melody; it really did feel like I was evaluating myself, which is why I landed on the name 'Self Assessment' What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? During lockdown, BBC asked me to do a 'live' session. This project was relatively new at the time, so it was great to reimagine 'jüle.' in a live setting, and to just get together with some good musicians and play out some of my tracks. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I never really set out with a plan, and I still don't. I'll always enjoy ticking things off, but things appear on my list as I do them..
