Glorior Belli is a French black metal band comprised of vocalist and guitarist Infestvvs, bassist Dispater, and drummer M:A Fog. Formed in Paris in 2002, the group recorded a demo two years later, and soon followed with their debut album, Ô Laudate Dominvs, in 2005. Along with its 2007 successor, Manifesting the Raging Beast, it contained raw, grim, uncompromising but surprisingly memorable black metal along the same lines as Deathspell Omega, Watain, and classic Mayhem. The band continued their grand metal experiment in 2009, releasing Meet Us at the Southern Sign. They eventually signed on with the iconic metal label Metal Blade, and shortly afterwards released The Great Southern Darkness in 2011. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
