Producer and rapper Damjonboi is a rising star in the fertile Detroit hip-hop scene. • Damjonboi has a strong musical background. He’s been playing piano since childhood. • In 2015, he teamed up with Eastside Reup on the mixtape How U Luv Dat which they followed up with a sequel. He finally dropped his official debut project, Number 23, in 2017. • Damjonboi produced Drego and Beno’s 2018 single “Recipe 2”, which amassed more than 5 million video views. • From 2019 to 2020, he released six projects: The Number 20, Super Saiyan, The Lost Files, Life of a Rap Star, A Whole Nother Whoop and Paranormal. • His 2019 single “Rip Icewood” samples Regina Belle’s 1989 R&B hit “Baby Come To Me” and pays homage to Blade Icewood, a legendary Detroit rapper who was killed in 2005. • He produced Teejayx6’s 2019 viral single “Dark Web”, which serves as a tutorial for scamming.
