In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Coming from a vibrant latino background, my childhood was infused with music. Cumbia, Merengue, and hip-hop were the backtrack to my earliest memories. The lyrics were deep and meaningful, but the rhythms and instruments would keep everyone dancing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World Madvillain, Madvillainy Nujabes, Modal Soul These three albums are the perfect representation of the versatility I love in music. Each album has a message that resonates with me and also inspires me instrumentally. I believe hip-hop can transcend different cultures and regions of the world. Tell us why you chose this song. “Moonlight Metropolis” This was one of those songs that took little effort to write as the emotions were raw. It speaks to new urbanites navigating life- those who had courage to make the move, start anew, and feel part of something bigger than what they’ve always known. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Shooting the music video for "Latitude" and performing it in Tokyo. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list will never be complete. My artistic journey grows further every day.
