About Aurlus Mabele

Aurlus Mabele was a noted singer who became one of the first Paris-based soukous stars, setting the standard with several '80s LPs. He was a top session musician and toured extensively in the West, and was one of the founders of the supergroup Loketo. Mabele died on March 19, 2020, from complications from the COVID-19 virus.
