Bursting onto the airwaves in the mid-‘70s, The Wynners initially won fans with their English covers of ‘60s-era classics by The Hollies and Herman's Hermits—as well as their own light rock material. Recording arm-swaying, sing-along hits, the Hong Kong-based five-piece bring pop sensibilities to their rock style, reminiscent of The Beach Boys and The Beatles. Occasional reunion tours have offered fans a chance to experience those trademark airy melodies and warm, endearing harmonies in the flesh once again.
