EMPiRE

About EMPiRE

EMPiRE formed during a six-day audition camp hosted by artist development company WACK, which also launched the careers of fellow Japanese idol groups Bis and Gang Parade. ∙ Though it was originally available only on cassette, their debut, THE EMPiRE STRiKES START!!, went to No. 1 on iTunes in Japan after its digital release. ∙ Aina the End, lead vocalist for popular idol group BiSH, choreographed the video for their sweeping electro-pop anthem “AKARUiMiRAi.” ∙ The band’s profile grew when anime series Black Clover used “RiGHT NOW” and “Black to the dreamlight” as episode theme songs. ∙ “SUCCESS STORY” was a Top 20 hit in Japan and is the opening track of the music-heavy role-playing video game SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays.
