SpongeBob Schwammkopf

About SpongeBob Schwammkopf

Taking a cue from the '90s CD series Die Schlümpfe, the SpongeBob Schwammkopf album series features famous tracks with new German lyrics sung by Santiago Ziesmer, the German dubbing voice of cartoon star SpongeBob Squarepants (SpongeBob Schwammkopf in Germany). Released in 2011, BOBmusik: Das Gelbe Album featured songs like "Lecker Lecker" (originally Shakira's "Waka Waka"), "Hummer" (Culcha Candela's "Hamma!"), and "Zack Zack" (Ke$ha's "Tik Tok"). SpongeBob Schwammkopf: Das Blaue Album arrived in 2012. Proving you can't keep a good sponge down, SpongeBob Schwammkopf kept the oceanic party going in 2013 with two albums BOB Star: Das Total Abgedrehte Album and Bob Hits: Das allerbeste Album.
