In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can see the sun setting through the backseat window of the car. The driver, a good family friend, asks me to sing "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow" for the third time. I think, "maybe I have a voice people want to listen to." What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Mayer, Continuum Joni Mitchell, Blue Norah Jones, Come Away with Me (Remastered) I am inspired by Joni's poetic song-writing every time I hear her. The jazz inspired vibe and soul-melting vocals of Norah and John will never die in my heart. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Gardener” I wrote this song on the cusp of a hurricane ripping through my life. It, in a way, prophesied a painful season of growth. It saw me go through it, and emerge on the other side a different person. I released this song when the storm started to die. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My career is very new. But the highlight, so far, has been creating beautiful things with a team of people who also love creating beautiful things. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Working my way up to releasing a full album and touring.
