In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother loved 80's music, pop and country, my father loved classic rock and my older brother was into all the hip hop and metal acts of the 90's and 2000's so I feel being exposed to a diverse selection of music in my youth impacted my creativity. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Death Cab for Cutie, Asphalt Meadows Neutral Milk Hotel, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea Ween, The Mollusk It is hard to put into 250 characters how a piece of art can impact you and change the way you see the world, but these three changed everything for me and made me who I am as an artist and as a human being. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Marigold” I feel that this is the first song I have written that properly expresses my feelings of love, as well as the first song that captures the sonic palette which I have been lusting after for a handful of years. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would have to say that playing the main stage of a festival with my band to a crowd larger than any of us could ever have imagined was a surreal experience. I would also say the first time somebody purchased a CD and my song played on the radio. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to go on a proper tour of North America, and if I am dreaming big, the entire world with a band consisting of my closest musical partners.
