Austin Wintory, Journey (Original Video Game Soundtrack) Die 12 Cellisten der Berliner Philharmoniker, Gidon Kremer, Keith Jarrett, Arvo Pärt: Tabula Rasa pg.lost, Versus Arvo Pärt has many great works, but Tabula Rasa is the one that I fell in love with first. Wintory’s score for Journey is not only his best work, but the best video game score of all time. And pg.lost’s Versus is the best working music in my library. Budapest Scoring Orchestra)” This fanfare was the first piece of serious music I sat down to write in nearly a decade. Watching SpaceX put American astronauts in space on American rockets, my wife and daughters at my side, was an incredibly exciting and special moment. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Every time I share my recording of the Budapest Scoring Orchestra playing my Fanfare for a New Era of American Spaceflight, and see people respond with delight. It never gets old. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to finish a symphony and see it find an audience: to get a premiere, and then get played again, and again.
