About Adam Kent

A specialist in Spanish and Latin American music, pianist Adam Kent has toured widely as a soloist and chamber musician. In 1996, Kent co-founded the Damocles Trio with violinist Airi Yoshioka and cellist Sibylle Johner; he has toured and recorded with that group, making his debut with them in 2004 on an album of chamber music by Joaquín Turina. His solo debut came two years later with the Grieg recital Remembrances. Since 2006, Kent has been Director of Cultural Outreach for Spain's Burgos International Music Festival, and he joined the faculty of the State University of New York at Oneonta. In 2022, he released the album Tania León: Teclas de mi piano.
