It's hard to describe the boys of Labanoon as rock gods. With their honest songs and lyrics that shy away from any trace of debauchery, the trio don't exactly fit the rock 'n' roll mould. But if anything, it's this unlikely style that makes the band's sonic DNA. Early singles "Yarm" and "Nuk Jai" set the outfit apart as an act content with unpretentious melodies, and Labanoon have continued in that vein for the past decade. They would take honest and genuine music over rock 'n' roll theatrics any day.
