About VERIVERY

Formed by Jellyfish Entertainment in the late 2010s, South Korean boy band VeriVery injects hip-hop aggression and electronic intensity into the classic K-pop blend of R&B vocal harmonies and dance beats. Their debut EP VERI-US arrived in early 2019, entering the Korean Top Five. The following year, they experienced a steady rise in sales across a trio of releases, Face Me, Face You, and Face Us. Unveiled in August 2018, VeriVery's members -- Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung, and Kangmin -- were introduced to audiences with the reality show Now Verivery: Real Road Movie and its accompanying soundtrack, Super Special. At the start of the following year, Jellyfish began the official roll-out of the septet's material with their debut EP VERI-US, which featured the New Jack Swing-influenced single "Ring Ring Ring." Peaking at number four on the Korean chart, it was soon followed by VERI-ABLE and VERI-CHILL. 2020 was a big year for the group, and saw sales double from those of their debut. A trio of EPs landed that year -- Face Me, Face You, and Face Us -- and kept them planted in the Top Ten. The bombastic, rap-showcasing single "G.B.T.B. (Go Beyond the Barrier)" became their first to chart in the U.S., soaring to the top spot of the Billboard World Singles chart that October. In March 2021, VeriVery issued their second single album Series 'O' Round 1: Hall and its A-side "Get Away." ~ Neil Z. Yeung
