About Remi Wolf

Remi Wolf’s colourfully soulful tunes dwell right outside the lines of pop, prioritising a good time, whether on the leisurely funky “Photo ID” or the free-flowing groove of “Cinderella”. But her most exciting traits stem from her unpredictability. “I just want to keep people on their toes,” she told Apple Music. “I don’t want anybody to really expect anything other than the unexpected from me.” Remi Francis Wolf, born in Palo Alto, California, in 1996, was a young competitive alpine skier before realising she enjoyed performing off the slopes. After a brief contestant appearance on American Idol, her first two EPs set her humorous musical approach in motion: 2019’s You’re A Dog! sparked major-label attention, while 2020’s I’m Allergic To Dogs! solidified her penchant for skippy melodies and woozy production. Wolf’s 2021 debut album, Juno, looked inward but didn’t let up its rhythmic stride—on “Liquor Store”, she sings about her recent sobriety with a brazen confidence befitting her independent musicality
