Mexico's Leonel Garcia and Argentina's Noel Schajris teamed up as Sin Bandera in 2000, and their mix of sharp pop songwriting, gorgeous harmonies, and skilful musicianship quickly made them one of Latin music's most successful acts. With its romantic ballads, lush melodies and slick R&B grooves, their self-titled debut album won a Latin GRAMMY® in 2002, and contained several smash hits that turned the duo into international stars. Sin Bandera would go on to release four more albums before calling it quits in 2007, with both Garcia and Schajris going onto to solo careers.
