Nitzer Ebb Essentials

Formed in 1982, Nitzer Ebb were pioneers of electronic body music, a new form of industrial that combined the genre's aggression and noise with the hypnotic rhythms and acidic keyboards of cutting-edge dance. While never mainstream in any sense of the word, many of the Essex group's singles were worldwide club hits. After five albums, the band went on an extended hiatus in the late '90s, but returned with 2010's Industrial Complex, having become revered elder statesmen who had influenced artists like Nine Inch Nails.
