Bloodhound Gang Essentials

Bloodhound Gang's music may change, but not so their love for lewd, crude and straight-up absurd humour. Founded by cheeky rhymesayer Jimmy Pop, the act have hopped from rap-rock to alt-pop to punk—and back again—since breaking out in the late '90s. On “The Bad Touch”, Pop straps sassy double entendres to bopping club beats and punchy horns. “Fire Water Burn” is a sarcasm-soaked ode to immaturity smothered in fuzz guitar and turntable scratching. Released more than 20 years into their career, the power-pop diss track “Altogether Ooky” proves that the crew have no intention of embracing adulthood.
