In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Learning piano from a young age was really rewarding and challenging. In addition to structured lessons, I would sit on the phone for hours with a friend while each of us tried to figure out the notes to some of our favorite video games. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beacon, The Ways We Separate Man with Roses, Forest/Fire Tycho, Dive All of these albums perfectly encompass why I even make the music I do. There's so much potential in this music and all of these albums flow really well. I'm always going back to these no matter what mood I'm in. Tell us why you chose this song. “Surf Rider” Surf Rider was actually named after and inspired by where I proposed to my wife. We got engaged on Surfrider Beach in Malibu, CA and it was just a really wonderful time in my life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing for #iVoted Festival in 2022 was a great time. The space and the music all felt really cohesive and I'm glad I was invited back for that year. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would certainly love to play more shows. The ultimate goal there is to at least be able to pull off a small, local tour of some sort. Even as a supporting act, I would consider that a success.
