TQD is a collaboration between Royal T (Mark Taylor), DJ Q (Shollen Quarshie), and Flava D (Danielle Gooding), all heavy-hitting producers in the U.K. garage/grime scene. The project simply aims to capture the excitement of the garage and bassline scenes, and their tracks are uptempo, bouncy, and swinging, with rapid vocal edits and elastic basslines. TQD's debut single, "Day & Night," was released by Elijah & Skilliam's Butterz label in 2015. This was followed by the slightly more melancholy, Burial-esque "Only One" (which also appeared on Flava D's Fabriclive.88 mix CD) and "Ghosts." TQD's full-length debut, UKG, appeared on Butterz in 2017. The album included a vocal version of "Ghosts" featuring grime MC P Money, as well as a track co-produced by Swindle and Skilliam. ~ Paul Simpson
