In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember I was maybe 6 or 7 and I hopped in the back of my dad's pickup truck after school where he was playing Lauryn Hill's "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You". I don't think I could really comprehend what the music made me feel but I became obsessed Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Naked” I wrote this song after struggling with assimilation my entire life. This song is about a black girl wondering if people will still love her the same if she shows her real self - not the self that has tried to conform and be accepted. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment as an independent artist was the first time I heard an audience singing my song "Strawberry Cake" back to me. I actually had to stop singing and just listen because I just wasn't expecting it. It was so surreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have so many things left on my bucket list! From touring, festival tours, writing a theme song for a James Bond movie, winning a Grammy one day, to ultimately being able to get to a place where I can put some of my fave up and coming artists on
