Lotus Plaza is a side project one-man-band founded by Deerhunter guitarist Lockett Pundt. Sounding heavily influenced by 1980s college rock shoegazers like My Bloody Valentine and the Jesus and Mary Chain, Pundt released the debut Lotus Plaza album, THE FLOODLIGHT COLLECTIVE, in early 2009. Pundt played all the instruments on the album with the exception of one track's worth of drums by her Deerhunter bandmate Bradford Cox.
