He shared music from artists like Fats Domino, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and more and I remember falling in love with the combination of instrumentation and voice. Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Lauryn's ability to flow in and out of singing and delivering lyrics is just flawless plus the simplistic way she delivers her subject matter is almost like a big sister putting you on to the truth of whats happening in the world. Combination of jazzy tones & gritty lyricism. The instrumentation meshes well with the vocals. This track literally flowed out of me. It depicts exactly how I felt about the subject matter. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'd say the most memorable moment in my career is when a young girl came up to me after a speaking engagement and said that I made her realize that she wasn't alone. That my music encouraged her to keep pushing through tough moments in her life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to continue assisting emerging artists in realizing their potential within the creative arts. To Continue guiding them towards reaching financial freedom utilizing their creative skills.
