Considering that Kruder & Dorfmeister didn’t release a studio LP until 2020—nearly three decades after they formed—their remix compilation The K&D Sessions was the closest thing fans had to an album from the Austrian downtempo kings. But it wasn’t available to stream in its proper format—as a DJ mix—until 2022. “This release manifested our mission to make people feel great when they lose themselves in the music,” Peter Kruder tells Apple Music. “We are extremely happy that we can present this now finally the way it was intended.” To celebrate the occasion, he and production partner Richard Dorfmeister assembled a special set of Selects “to renovate your mind, body and soul”, says Kruder.
