In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid I bought old hi-fi gear, when I was 7 I bought a record player where you would stack up loads of 45 singles, it would then play each one in sequence then knock down the next one and play that one, I think it was my first attempts at DJing! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beastie Boys, Check Your Head Orbital, Orbital 2 Tricky, Maxinquaye 3 albums I love, the Tricky album - it's deep and dark and still amazing years later. Check Your Head was the Beasties transitioning back to a band, playing live and mixing that with samples and crazy raps, Orbital 2 because it's amazing Electronica! Tell us why you chose this song. “Turn Into Dark” I like this track especially for the beat and the vibes, during pandemic I was having a lot of fun jamming in the studio coming, up with new sounds and ideas, a lot of these tracks got lost on a failed hard drive but this one survived to be released!
