About Jack Owens

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I ever stepped on a stage in front of an audience, I knew three chords and the first song I learned: "In Color" by Jamey Johnson. Since then, Jamey has signed my guitar along with many other legends, which fuels my passion for music! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? HARDY, HIXTAPE, HIXTAPE: Vol. 1 Luke Combs, What You See Ain't Always What You Get (Deluxe Edition) Morgan Wallen, Dangerous: The Double Album (Bonus) I was made on classic country, but I believe these three albums to be my favorite/some of the greatest. The Dangerous Album (36 songs) broke all sorts of records, Luke Combs dropped an album of bangers, and HARDY provided networking with HIXTAPE. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Life's Song” This was the first song I ever wrote as well as the first song I wrote and recorded singlehandedly (Produced by Eric Woolard). It is a story based on my grandfather/grandmother and a tribute to the conversations full of advice I had with them. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Although it was not on my own merit, playing drums in the Junction at Mississippi State for 5,000+ people was exhilarating. Having multiple celebrities/famous music artists support my music and hop in Tik Tok lives was also a huge milestone for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes! There are multiple venue milestones that I'd love to play at. Rick's Cafe in Starkville has always been a huge milestone goal for me. Opening for bigger artists has also been a milestone for me: singing all my own original music/co-writes.
