In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up playing piano - somewhere between the age of 8 and 10 is when I really fell in love with music. I would play the piano for hours, making up lyrics and melodies as I went. I think it's what set the foundation for me having an ear for music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, Blonde GIVĒON, TAKE TIME Smino, Luv 4 Rent Blonde got me through the most difficult parts of my teenage years, and TAKE TIME through college. Luv 4 Rent is my favorite project to come out in recent (although JID's 'The Forever Story' is a close contender)- Smino's artistry is super admirable. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Unfair” I love UNFAIR because it's the most vulnerable I've been in my music. To be able to write a song that talked so openly about my struggles with mental health was not only therapeutic for me, but hopefully healing for listeners battling similar issues. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Shooting the video for my breakout single 'TRAPPED IN MY MIND' will always be a career highlight. I had an amazing time with the crew, on & off set. It was one of those moments where you pause and look around to truly take in how far you've come. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to collaborate with (and write for) a number of talented artists, hone my skills as a music producer, explore genres outside of pop/rap, get my music placed in a major film, show, and video game, to tour the world, and to start my own label.
