Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, known to her fans as Rossa, has sold more than ten million records worldwide. Although she was just 10 when she made her debut with a children’s album, commercial success came years later, with 1996’s Nada Nada Cinta. But it wasn’t until the release of Tegar in 1999 that Rossa was finally immortalised as a pop star in Indonesia’s vast music scene—known for her warm, soulful pop sound, she has also tried her hand at sparkling synth-pop and even experimented with English tracks on her 2017 album A New Chapter.
