In 2007, Jing Chang won the first season of Taiwan's Super Idol, thanks in part to her distinctive voice. Although best known for her deep voice, Chang actually possesses a wide vocal range. What makes her really stand out, however, is how she uses her instrument. Whether she's tackling a piano ballad, guitar anthem or straight-ahead Mandopop hit, she's adept at conveying vulnerability and fragility as well as power and defiance. Either way, that's clear is that Chang's heart and soul are fully invested in her music.
