Cheer Chen, a Taiwanese music staple in her own right, has penned many jazzy and dramatic cuts for fellow artists. Using the guitar as a base, Chen constructs keyboard-accented backdrops and dynamic pop tunes featuring pounding percussion. These compositions have found favour at home and abroad through the work of such pop luminaries as Jolin Tsai and Karen Mok.
