Anuwat Sanguansakpakdee sang on the pub and restaurant circuit for years before his unique voice was recognised by the Thai indie label founded by songwriter-producer Boyd Kosiyabong. In 2003, Anuwat became Boy Peacemaker when he teamed up with Pete (Peera Tesvisal) to record Green Light Project. Though Anuwat and Pete have since gone their separate ways, Anuwat has kept the moniker Boy Peacemaker and continues to chronicle, through his music, a young man's search for love. Tapping into the hopes and dreams of Thai youth, Boy Peacemaker's music is often featured in popular TV shows.
