About Vancouver Sleep Clinic

Australian singer-songwriter and producer Tim Bettinson leads Vancouver Sleep Clinic, which has evolved from being a teenager’s ambient folk and electro R&B recording project to a full band. ∙ Bettinson chose the name Vancouver Sleep Clinic based on the beauty he associated with the Canadian city and the calming nature of his music. ∙ By age 17, he had already released his debut single, 2013’s “Vapour,” and opened for British indie-pop band London Grammar on a brief Australian tour in 2014. ∙ Vancouver Sleep Clinic collaborated with the Melbourne-based producer GXVXNS on two Drake covers released as singles: 2014’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and 2018’s “Don’t Matter to Me.” ∙ He had just turned 18 years old when he left Brisbane for Los Angeles to record the band’s 2017 debut album, Revival, with Grammy-winning producer Al Shux (Jay-Z, Lana Del Rey). ∙ In 2018, the group landed at No. 14 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart.
