In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At three years old, I remember hearing the piano in my ballet and jazz class. I started playing violin at age 6, flute at 8, and wrote my first lyrics at age 10 (I still have the notebook). What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alice In Chains, Facelift / Dirt / Alice in Chains Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain TOOL, Lateralus I've listened, deconstructed these albums over and over. Each of these albums (and some others) marked pivotal changes in what I was listening to at the the time and defined new emotional states that I was exploring. They added color to my being. Tell us why you chose this song. “Crown or Crucify (Sanguine Remix)” The keyboard part came quickly, and that informed the rest of the song. Lyrically, I was exploring sacrifice and surrender in love after surfacing from a broken relationship. The video, we produced 100% DIY and the song was Top 40 Active Rock radio. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been attacked on stage and been told several times that I am the devil. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Would love to collaborate and share the stage with some of our musical idols, and of course, headline a sold out show at MSG.
