Formed in the fall of 2001, the Trace came together quickly and began to play around Los Angeles almost immediately. Crafting a lush brand of pop/rock, the group's emotional sound won them an audience quickly, and shows at the Viper Room and the Whisky followed. By March of the next year, the Trace began recording with producer Rudy Haeusermann, and by the summer had the Reverse EP ready to drop. Touring throughout late summer/early fall, the band also prepared material for a full-length record while on the road. ~ Bradley Torreano
