In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember seeing my dear grandpa Otto play "La Comparsa" by Ernesto Lecuona on the upright piano at my parents' home. It was his first time playing in decades but it felt so effortless, as if he had never stopped playing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hiroshi Yoshimura, Music For Nine Post Cards Keaton Henson, Ren Ford, Romantic Works Sufjan Stevens, Carrie & Lowell These are the albums I have listened to the most and I feel that, in a way, they have strongly influenced the way I compose. Tell us why you chose this song. “Holding her is where I learned forgiveness” This piece, which I wrote with my dear friend Lo-Fang, is dedicated to Seraphina, my partner, with whom I have learned to love selflessly. She is a soft ray of sun during a spring afternoon, a foggy autumn morning, my moon and ocean, my home. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I recently opened Silvana Estrada's concerts in Germany as part of her Summer Tour 2023. It was an honor to share the stage with one of my favourite artists and to perform for such an amazing audience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to go on tour around Japan one day, and to start writing music for films.
