About Paige Rutledge

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I went to my first Shania Twain concert in 2003 and remember just loving every minute of it. My parents always tell the story of when I was crying as a kid, they would put on Shania Twain and I would immediately stop and start singing along. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kacey Musgraves, Golden Hour Shania Twain, Shania Twain: Greatest Hits Taylor Swift, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) I got my first guitar the year that Speak Now originally came out & I sat in my room and learnt every song. I take a lot of inspiration from Kacey with pop-country sounds, specifically this album! Shania is the queen of Canadian Country Music!! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gone Ain't Really Gone” This is easily the most vulnerable song I have ever written. Losing someone you love affects everyone and those moments have definitely shaped and changed who I am as a person. It took me almost two years to put this song out after I wrote it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Country on the Bay this summer on the same stage as Walker Hayes! It was such a surreal experience because I didn't know if anyone would know who I was and it made me very emotional watching the crowd sing my songs back to me that day! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things!! I don't think you ever stop adding moments to your musical bucket list. I would say that playing at Boots & Hearts one day is right at the top of my list!
