About OBB

Atlanta, Georgia-based pop group OBB (aka the Oswald Brothers Band) grew up in an incredibly close family environment. The three brothers Nich, Jacob, and Zach Oswald shared a single room and were home-schooled as children, all growing collectively more interested in music and songwriting as they grew up together. OBB officially began in 2008, and the boys were encouraged by their grandmother to enter the CBS Early Show's Singing Family Face-Off in 2009. Though they didn't win the competition, they placed high and the national attention the television appearance gave them eventually led to more live appearances and a record contract in 2012. A debut EP appeared in 2013 and entered Billboard's Heatseekers chart at number 23 and the Billboard Christian Albums chart at number 39. The band embarked on a package tour entitled Winter Jam in support of the EP and began work on a full-length debut with producer Justin Ebach. The album, Bright Side, was released by Curb Records in September 2014, followed two months later by a holday EP, Feelin' Like Christmas. OBB found success with their 2016 single "Sweater," which racked up over a million digital streams. Another single, "Mona Lisa," arrived a year later. ~ Fred Thomas
