In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Born in a Buddhist temple, i was interested in Indian religion, gods, and music from an early age. After going to India, I began taking Indian classical dance lessons in earnest. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Various Artists, Rhythms In the Landscape (Live) I learned the song shiva stuti from this album directly from Maharajji in his class. Also performed at many of my concerts. The sound source at that time is a different sound source. It is for stage use only and was recorded by Maharaj. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chandra: The Heart Sutra” By making Heart Sutra into a song, I think it will be easier to remember, and I will be able to convey the merits of the sutra to many people. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After many years of training in Indian classical dance, I was accepted into the class of India's Living National Treasure Maharaj. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The idea is to create an album with the theme of Theravada Buddhism's meditation on compassion, and use the music to perform a Buddhist-based Indian classical dance concert and dance performance.
