I cried to them, I danced to them, I found my empowerment and my honesty and my humour. I learnt about feminism. I found out who I was, and that I didn't want anybody else telling me who I was. It has so much of me in it; my power, my vulnerability, my attitude, I even hear my visual aesthetic in it... I make music to feel empowered and to empower others, and I think it does that.
