Since he dropped the emotive “Csak te” in 2018, T. Danny has become one of the most important names in Hungarian hip-hop. Born Dániel Márton Telegdy and hailing from a family of famous athletes, the singer and rapper deftly balances introspection with arena-sized fanfare like the banger “Megmondtam”. He stylises his stage moniker with an initial like J. Cole, draws inspiration from US heavyweights such as Eminem and Post Malone and often mirrors American idioms while addressing love, growing pains and parties.
