About Vicetone

Dutch electronic duo Vicetone merge infectious pop melodies with bombastic builds and drops, highlighting a softer side of progessive house. • Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool became friends in school. They bonded over music and learned to produce original songs and remixes in Den Boer’s bedroom. • Vicetone got started with popular remixes of songs by Calvin Harris, Flo Rida, Matthew Koma and more. • Their breakout 2015 hit “Angels” features red-hot vocals from Kat Nestel over a spicy synth hook. • The duo has also branched off into video games. Their single “Apex” appears in Rocket League, while in 2016, the duo remixed Pentakill’s League of Legends theme “Project: Yi”. • Vicetone’s 2018 debut EP, Aurora, landed just outside the Top 20 of Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. • Their 2014 remix of Tony Igy’s “Astronomia” became a huge international hit in 2020 after it was used in a meme of Ghanaian men dancing while carrying a coffin.
