About Luke Easter

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up on a lot of church music, so discovering artists like Steve Taylor who had more to offer than mini sermons set to music was huge. Stryper's debut played a big part in realizing I wanted to play music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Jovi, New Jersey Butch Walker, The Spade EXTREME, III Sides to Every Story I love great songs. All three of these albums are loaded with them. Great melodies, killer performances, and they all - in my opinion - transcend their time and genre. Of all the albums I love, these three are the ones that I return to most often. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mystery” Of all the stuff I've done - solo or in a band - this one has pretty much everything that I hope people think of when they hear my name. A relatable lyric, a catchy chorus, big guitars and drums, and lots of vocals. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There's a bunch, but the ones that come to mind first are making my first album, recording with Marty Friedman, and the first time performing a big European festival. The. most satisfying by far, though, is writing and recording my solo debut. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't really have a bucket list, but I hope I can continue to write music that people connect with, and that is artistically fulfilling.
