My admiration since a kid for music for artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Phil Collins, continues to inspire my compositions. Green Day, American Idiot (Deluxe Edition) Mark Mancina, Phil Collins, Tarzan (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Soundtrack from the Motion Picture Red Hot Chili Peppers, Californication (Deluxe Edition) These. to me perfect, albums hold a special place in my heart. "Californication" by Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Tarzan" by Phil Collins, and "American Idiot" by Green Day have deeply influenced my musical preference and I still listen to them daily. The blend of English and Yoruba is so unique. The percussion & instruments makes it one-of-a-kind. It's a proud creation that truly represents my vision, just like my entire 'Jaiye' EP. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable career moments was when my artist name, Laurentius, gained global recognition, and I was nominated for a Grammy for Best Electronic Production of 2019 in Guatemala. It truly felt unreal to be honoured for a price like that. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My music is defined by my 'Smile More' vision. This vision is more than just music; it's a call to action, a rallying note to build a vibrant community where positive influence is central. Through music, I'm trying to unite people and inspire smiles.
