About Kote$

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad had a so fresh cd in the early 2000’s that had 50 cents “In da Club” song on it. I used to play that track on repeat until he just ended up buying me the “Get Rich or Die Tryin” album for my 9th birthday. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin Big L, The Lifestyle of the Poor and Dangerous - EP Eminem, Infinite - Single I never had an older brother to look up to or really learn from in my youth. 50 drew me to the genre, Em's infinite made me fall in love with the poetry of hip hop. And Big L taught me how to be THE man. I consider him a grand master/teacher of sorts Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Same Shit.” My song “ same shit “ embodies my mind-state during my late teens , i wrote it when i was at rock bottom i had finally snapped and made changes to my life. It gained some traction and helped propel me to where i am now. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring with huskii. Homie really one of the last rockstars out here. He reached out to me about the tour at a point where I was losing my passion for music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Too much on the list, so little time.
